Menlove Farms

Now the name for this site makes sense...again. Our family has made it new repeatedly our 23 years together. This is a site I used to document some family happenings. I started blogging originally in 2006 and have haphazardly posted on this site. It had a lot of Costa Rica and Vegas. Then religiously it became a site for my daughters college recruiters. Now it is being a bit repurposed to document the trajectory of our journey of building a family farm in Kanab, Utah. Please check back for updates.

Bio

Our family lives in Vegas and is building a Utah farm. Andiamo! Moving onto the next shenanigan. In the past...Charly was born with solid calf muscles. Her first steps were not walking, they were running. Charly has played soccer since she was 5. In addition to soccer she ran the Diamond Kid Triathlon two years and placed first in both the short and long distance races. After a year on a competition soccer team she moved to Costa Rica where she placed first in the local surf competition. She returned to Las Vegas to continue playing soccer. Her freshman year she ran track for the first time ever and placed second in state in her hurdle events. She was ranked #6 Freshman in the nation. So, naturally, her sophomore year she took state in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 400 relay. She is an honor student and active member of her church. Charly is not only gifted athletically, but also artistically. She is a superb painter and drawer. She is also a successful model. Charly is the only girl of 5 siblings and is quick to multitask her life seamlessly.
